Update as of August 20, 2021 Masks at Church: This summer was filled with hopefulness regarding Covid-19s decreasing impact on our lives. As a church and community, we enjoyed a mask free life with little concern of spreading Covid-19 to others. Unfortunately, Kent County is now an area of substantial transmission for Covid-19. The CDC recommends all people, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks indoors. While we are discouraged by this change due to the Delta variant, First Church will continue to follow the CDC guidance and recommends you wear a mask while inside the church building. You may remove masks during events when eating, but we encourage social distancing. We also encourage groups to continue to meet outside if possible. When the Kent County transmission level decreases to moderate, we will again be able to gather without masks. Thank you for helping our community mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
We believe church is family, and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Maybe church looks like a Zumba class in the Fellowship Hall. Or church could mean playing Connect Four with an elementary school student you mentor. Maybe church is spending your Wednesday night playing games, doing crafts, and learning about God's Word with kids. Church could also be joining an in-depth Bible study like The Journey.
